At Spinderihallerne, we have a wide variety of citizen-led communities that meet up in the building’s open areas several times a week to share common interests – especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when the house is open until 9pm. To create a community at Spinderihallerne, you just need to have an interest you’d like to share with others, be open to everyone and be willing to meet up in one of the open areas.

We also have a resident community consultant, who spreads knowledge about the communities, gives guidance on starting a community and helps to set up community initiatives and events in the building, such as group dining event we hold every Tuesday and Thursday. Other events include plant-swapping markets, concerts, workshops, cooking by the campfire, stand-up shows and much more.
